This is a compton-type gearbox having a 3mm output shaft that can be moved backwards and forwards to engage any one of six different gear ratios. Each gearbox comes complete with an MM18 motor (1.5V - 4.5V) and takes approx. 10 mins to assemble. The metal sideplates enable the gearbox to be fastened easily to any surface or to other components.
