This booklet considers how digital microscopy can be used in the lower secondary school. Suggests possible uses within the context of the National Curriculum, as well as looking at how such resources might be used to support and enhance science teaching in a broader context. The aim (through schemes of work) is to offer students the opportunity to explore ideas, to investigate, and perhaps to inspire their sense of curiosity.
