This revolutionary engineering material really is state of the art - an ultra light stainless steel that is both strong and formable. It consists of a core of microscopic stainless steel fibres sandwiched between two stainless steel face plates, each approximately 0.2mm thick. The total thickness of the sheet is just 1mm. It has a stiffness similar to solid steel of the same thickness, but is a fraction of the weight.
