This flexible magnetic strip has a unique property that enables it to be used to create magnetic gears, ratchets, rack and pinions, linear sliders, etc. It is available in 2 types:
Magnetic Linear Strip When two lengths are placed together they will ‘stick’ but are able to move parallel to each other. Strip size: 1000 x 40 x 0.6mm
Magnetic gear strip The magnetic domains in the strip function as gear teeth, with a separation of about 2mm. Strip size: 620 x 40 x 0.6mm
Both types can also be used for making fridge magnets and can be coloured with felt pens. Cuts with craft knife or scissors.
